Orthopedic massage is a soft tissue mobilization method that focuses on restoring structural balance and the prevention and rehabilitation of musculoskeletal dysfunction. It creates a mechanical acceleration of venous blood flow and lymphatic drainage. Passive exercise on soft tissues and mobilization of the skin, connective tissue and muscles triggers responses in the nervous system. These responses, in turn, cause the body to react with beneficial reflex mechanisms.Our therapists can help individuals who suffer from repetitive motion injuries, muscle spasms, neuromuscular conditions, chronic headaches, whiplash, rotator cuff injuries, chronic low back pain, and other soft-tissue injuries. Orthopedic massage is a non-invasive therapy that produces beneficial and measureable results.

Fibromyalgia: treatment is available for fibromyalgia, carpal tunnel syndrome and migraine headaches. Our therapist is trained in the Kurashova Re-education Technique for these conditions. Treatment regimen consist of 12 – 15 treatments of 25 minutes each. Treatment is gentle, non-invasive and targets the central nervous system to relax and relieve pain.
Lymphedema: we offer complete decongestive therapy for lymphedema, including therapy, bandaging and garment fitting. Please call for further information.
